Wake is an exploration into the psyche of a man (Leo DeFriend) who's anguished by the memories of his past. He finds himself held captive by a mysterious drifter (Gys de Villiers) who leads him through a relentless and surreal landscape.
This is the first scripted short film produced by Brendan Kissane after a long hiatus editing. It was shot on location at Rockaway beach over four summer days in New York.
Wake will be released in 2021
